Rooted In Family, Raised with Care - One Beautiful Mess at a Time

Our Story

Our farming journey began in 2021, when we made the move from our homestead in southeast Wyoming to build a small family farm in New York State’s Mohawk Valley. We purchased our new property in the spring of 2022 and immediately got to work turning it into a place where we could grow food, raise animals, and share the results with others.

The transition from homestead to farm was a natural one for us. Steph was raised on a multi-generational cattle ranch and later earned a degree in Agricultural Communications from the University of Wyoming. Kory also has roots in ranching and grew up working alongside his dad on construction projects. On our Wyoming homestead, we spent years learning to build, garden, and raise goats and chickens. As our family and goals grew, so did our vision—leading us here.

We love the agricultural lifestyle. There’s no better way to connect with your food and the products you use daily than to be part of their creation. From raising goats for milk to growing a large garden and raising livestock for meat and eggs, everything we do is guided by a commitment to quality, care, and sustainability. We’re proud to craft goat milk soaps and lotions made from fresh milk produced right here on our farm. We also offer farm-raised meats, eggs, and livestock, all raised with the same intention and heart.

Our children are part of it all—from feeding animals to helping with projects—and we believe the skills they’re gaining will serve them for life. Every project we tackle as a family helps us grow the infrastructure that supports our farm and the products we offer to you.

Whether you’re here for soap, lotion, food for your table, or animals for your own farm, we’re glad you’ve found us.

What's in a name?

Why Oops-A-Daisy Farm?  There are a few reasons.

During our first summer here, the meadow behind our house was bursting with wildflowers—daisies among them. Steph has always loved daisies, and seeing them growing wild on our land felt like a little welcome from the farm itself.

But the name means more to us than flowers. It reflects our commitment to showing up, trying again, and learning as we go. Farming isn’t always smooth—there are bumps, missteps, and plenty of lessons along the way. Oops-A-Daisy captures that spirit: a little grace, a little humor, and the determination to keep going.

And honestly? It makes us smile. And that felt like reason enough.
